Funding Keplr (Coinbase)

Follow this guide to learn how to send coins from Coinbase to your Keplr wallet.
  1. To fund your Keplr wallet, first buy ATOM. You can search for it on the Assets page of Coinbase.
  1. Input the amount of ATOM you wish to buy and select your preferred payment method.
  1. Check the transaction details and finalise your purchase.
  1. Once you have ATOM on your Coinbase account, open the Keplr wallet browser extension and copy your ATOM wallet address.

    There are many blockchain wallets on the Keplr browser extension; if Cosmos Hub is not the one showing, click the arrow next to the blockchain name to find and select it.
  1. On the Cosmos page on Coinbase, click on Send & Receive to withdraw the ATOM to your copied Keplr wallet address.

    A memo is not required when sending to a non-custodial wallet like Keplr, only when sending back to an exchange.
  1. After you have approved the withdrawal and Coinbase have completed the transaction, you will see the ATOM in your Cosmos Hub wallet in Keplr.

    Now you can deposit it onto the Osmosis blockchain to use on Osmosis.
